• From Paris :

Take the A6 freeway towards Clermont-Ferrand (A71), then continue on the A75 towards Montpellier – Issoire. Follow this freeway until you reach the Royère-de-Vassivière exit.

• From Lyon :

Head for Saint-Étienne, then Clermont-Ferrand. Then take the A75 towards Montpellier – Issoire. Take exit n°6 towards Plauzat and Champeix, in the direction of Besse and Le Mont Dore. Continue on to Royère-de-Vassivière.
